To the Editor:Dr Pancioli and colleagues1report a study on public perception of stroke warning signs and knowledge of risk factors; this is important to decrease the hospital arrival time for effective stroke treatment. The American Heart Association Stroke Council recommends thrombolytic therapy within 180 minutes of symptom onset.2
